Conveyor Magazine Editorial Internship
One Position Available*
Weekly Commitment: 2 Days Per Week
Tasks:
- Research for Articles and Artist Features
- Organize Image and Written Submissions
- Facilitate and Participate in the Submission Review Process
- Correspondence with Museums, Galleries, and Artists for Artwork Reproduction Rights
- Fact Checking and Proofreading Final Drafts of the Publication
Musts:
- Excellent Writing and Grammar Skills
- Masters Student or Graduate Preferred
- Strong Knowledge of the History of Photography and Contemporary Art
Masters Student or Recent Graduate Preferred.

Print and Production Internship
Two Positions Available*
Weekly Commitment: 1 – 2 Days Per Week at Conveyor Arts
Tasks:
- Assist hands-on with printing photobooks, zines and other Conveyor publications.
- Correspondence with Museums, Galleries, and Artists for Artwork Reproduction Rights.
- Fact Checking and Proofreading Final Drafts of the Publication
Musts:
- Background in Photography
– Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & InDesign
– Retouching Skills { Spotting & Adjustment Layers }
– Basic Understanding of Color Management
– Experience with Large Format Epson Printers
– High Attention to Detail
– Mac Literate
Bonus:
– Experience with Digital CMYK Presses
- Knowledge of Analog Color Printing Process
– Experience with Art Handling & Exhibition Installation

Media Internships
* One Position Available for Web Intern
* One Position Available for Video Intern
Weekly Commitment: 1 – 2 Days per Week
Tasks:
- Assist with weekly Conveyor E-Blasts and other Promotional Materials
- Assist in Production and Editing Artist Interview Videos for Conveyor Blog
- Preparing Images for Web, Basic Color Correction, Light Retouching and Such
Musts:
- Video Interns: Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and using the 5D Mark ii Camera.
- Web Interns: Proficiency in Dreamweaver, HTML and advanced knowledge of CSS

All internships are currently unpaid positions. However, all Conveyor interns will have access to our printing and production facilities, and will have to opportunity to make prints, books projects, zines and more, at little to no cost. Which, we think, is pretty awesome! And if everything goes well, there is good a chance for future hire!
